Softening point of bitumen test accessory which is referred to the ring and ball method, include: beaker, holder, and standard ring and ball set. On the other hand, the accessory of the dropping point of the lubricating grease test include: beaker, holder, and special set of this test.
In addition to the above, as described in other section, thermometers and heaters are also used in both tests. Dimensions, materials, and instructions of these equipment are fully explained in the standards related to dropping point of lubricating grease test (ASTM D566) and softening point of bitumen test (ASTM D36).
