The main purpose of using Colori meter device is visual determination of the color of petroleum products such as: lubricating oils, heating oil, diesel fuel oil, and petroleum waxes.
The test method of Colori meter which is applied on Parsian Technology devices, is used in quality control issues, since the color of a sample can checked by this device rapidly. In some cases, the color of the sample indicates its purity, so the sample is contaminated with other products, if the color range be specific and the Colori meter shows an unexpectable number.
In this standard method, the color of the products are categorized from 0 up to 8 qualitatively in intervals of 0.5 or 1.
