The freezing point test is one of the most important tests for engine coolants and anti-freezing liquids. In this test method, the temperature vs. time diagrams are drawn and investigated, and the intersection of the two diagrams (before and after freezing) can be used to calculate the exact freezing point temperature. On advanced devices, the freezing point temperature can be detected immediately during the test by a special sensor.
