Some of the tests or experiment in different laboratory including: oil, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, and food laboratories, need to perform at a constant temperature. For this purpose, a special chamber that provides a constant temperature with enough accuracy whose name is bain-marie bath, is used in laboratory.
Depending on the type of the test, bain-marie bath can be divided into different types based on circulated fluid or temperature range. On advanced devices, the bain-marie bath can be supported a wide range of temperatures, from 5 ℃ up to 80 ℃.
In many kind of bain-marie baths, water is used as the liquid that controls the ambient temperature.
